Do you remember Jim Croce? How about his song “Time in a Bottle”? Every now and again this song (or parts of it anyway) play over and over and over in my head, I LOVE the words. It goes something like this:

“If I could save time in a bottle, the first thing that I’d like to do, is to save everyday until eternity passes away just to spend them with you. There never seems to be enough time to do the things you wanna do once you find them. I’ve looked around enough to know, that you’re the one I wanna go through time with…..”

Anyway, time….time flies… I never thought I would be able to say “20 years ago I..”  this that and the other thing…well guess what! I’m there!

Did you know that:

20 years ago I graduated from highschool

20 years ago I began voting

20 years ago I lived in Las Vegas

20 years ago I began working for the LADWP

20 years ago I drove a Honda Civic

20 years ago I worked as a telephone operator

20 years ago I weighed 20 lbs less!

20 years ago I worked out 1 hour every day

                   AND

20 years ago I dreamed of:

graduating from college (done)

being a teacher (done)

being married to a wonderful man (done)

being a stay at home mom (done)

being a foster parent (done)

adopting (done) (done)

having a large family (done,done,done,done,done)

writing (always an on going process)

How exciting! I wonder what the next 20 years will bring, I better start dreaming!
